About Ramona

Ramona Kaptyn has degrees in Journalism, Education and Political Science, and is a Certified Hotel Administrator. She has extensive experience in management, communications, public relations, sales & marketing, staff training & development, education, and fundraising in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. Results-oriented, high-energy, creative, and innovative, she is a recognized manager of projects, events, and people.

Ramona began campaigning for various politicians age the age of 16. She is and has been a director on various boards. Here is a sampling of her present and past experience:

  • Director, South Surrey White Rock Chamber of Commerce 2014-2021.
  • Member, City of White Rock Seniors Advisory Committee 2020-2021.
  • One of 50 Women of Options raising funds for Affordable Housing in Surrey 2021.

  • Member, Surrey Board of Trade Transportation, Finance/Tax & Women in Business Committees 2021-Current.
