The opinions expressed are our own and do not necessarily reflect the view or opinions of the City of Surrey or other members of Surrey Council.

Highlights

The Police Transition wasted $500,000 on a single source police database.

The Safe Surrey Coalition switched positions on cannabis in mid-stream. After promising no cannabis outlets in Surrey many times during the campaign at Monday’s meeting they flip-flopped and reversed their position.

Cancellation of the new YMCA Recreation Centre and the continuing ongoing development without adequate recreational facilities for the new residents were also a topic of discussion.
